That’s the biggest problem with movies like this: the “movie version” of cyber attacks ends up looking flashy, simplified, or implausible when the actual reality—identity theft, data manipulation, endless vulnerabilities—is far scarier. Sandra Bullock carries the film well, giving charm and credibility to a character whose life is erased with the tap of a keyboard, and the broader themes of digital dependence and privacy loss still hold up today. But with just a bit more realism and technical research, the film’s suspense could have been even stronger. You can see the potential for a genuinely chilling story underneath the Hollywood embellishments. As it stands, The Net remains an entertaining thriller that’s surprisingly prophetic, even if its tech isn’t quite believable.

Mohou sloužit také rafinovaným zločincům, kteří hodlají ovládnout svět velkého byznysu.
