The story’s nothing special, but the jokes and chaotic energy do most of the heavy lifting. Some bits hit harder than others, yet it stays fun and breezy the whole way through — the kind of movie you throw on to relax and end up enjoying more than you expected.

It's not a masterpiece - nor does it pretend to be - but it knows exactly what kind of movie it wants to be, and it delivers that with enough energy and charm to keep you entertained from start to finish. The biggest strength of the film is the interplay between its two leads. Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson have unmistakable chemistry, trading barbs with infectious timing and attitude. Their back-and-forth is often the highlight of the movie, generating laughs even when the plot hits familiar beats. The action sequences lean into the absurd with confidence. Explosions, car chases, and shootouts are staged with flair and keep the momentum brisk. The film's tone never gets bogged down in heaviness; it embraces its own silliness and rides it, which works surprisingly well. Where "The Hitman's Bodyguard" is less effective is in its narrative depth. Ford3. února 2025This was a good time......but it could have been a bit better.....You gotta let Samuel.and Ryan cut all the way loose....For the most part the film was àn A+...the action was good....not spectacular but good....the cinematography was decent....the casting was elite(but seemingly holding back)...Good storyline and was consumable.....Part 2 is much better trust me......
