    The French Dispatch unfolds like a lovingly assembled newspaper supplement brought to vivid, eccentric life. Anderson’s anthology structure lets each story breathe with its own distinct rhythm of wit and melancholy, anchored by an ensemble that treats every line reading as minor poetry. What emerges is a quiet celebration of journalism’s odd, obsessive corners - the deadline pressures, the small human truths tucked between the facts - rendered with such care that the whole thing feels like a defense of paying attention in a distracted age. It leaves one simply glad such a film exists.
