- siluskitt1853. dubna 2026Couldn't have been better, yes blood looked fake, but none of that matters when the story line is so god damn good, I personally think this is my favorite horror movie I've EVER watched, of you have ever played the video game called the Forest, it reminds me of this, I feel like if this was made around this time, it wouldn't have been nearly as good
- M08Y26. listopadu 2025The Descent is a solid little horror flick that does some serious heavy-lifting with a tiny budget. While not being quite as claustrophobic as some of the caving horror stories on YouTube, The Descent does a remarkable job of making every single scene feel enclosed and desperate. The cave in scene is incredibly uncomfortable to watch. I really appreciated the slow build up to the introduction of the creatures and how all of the characters come across as sensible and level-headed. Low budget horror movies usually resort to characters being horrendously stupid to make certain plot points work but it's much better when they keep their wits about them and stuff still goes wrong. The cast all being their A game here. Audio and Visuals. The audio is fine all the way through, nothing particularly interesting to note. The visuals are however more interesting. Taking places underground, the lighting is REALLY important to get right and 90% of the time, this film gets it very right. There are however a few scenes where the lighting is impossibly good for a single glow stick. I'm willing to put this aside given the tiny budget and challenging conditions of the filming. The bluray isnt the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. I'm keen to get my hands on the 4K to see if it's much better, but £60 is a tough pill to swallow.

Rok po kruté a tragické nehodě se šestice kamarádek opět vydává na každoroční dobrodružnou výpravu - tentokrát do odlehlé části Appalačského pohoří, aby podnikly sestup do jeskynního systému. Uvnitř jeskyně je náhle zasáhne pohroma. Kameny uvolněné při sesuvu zatarasily jediný východ a uvěznily je uvnitř. Skupina se po neshodách dělí a každá z dívek se modlí, aby našla nějaký jiný východ. Je tu ale ještě něco jiného, co na ně v podzemí číhá - neznámý druh velkých humanoidních nestvůr, které se dokonale adaptovaly na život ve tmě. Představa, že se brzy stanou kořistí příšer, v dívkách probouzí ty nejprimitivnější pudy a nutí je dělat úplně vše, aby obstály v totálním boji s nepopsatelnou hrůzou, která útočí bez varování, znovu a znovu a znovu.
