Geofyzik Dr. Josh Keyes objevil strašlivou skutečnost – zemské jádro se přestalo otáčet. Elektromagnetické pole planety slábne a Země bude zničena během několika měsíců. Existuje jediná naděje – poslat Keyese a elitní tým vědců ve speciální raketě, která pronikne až do nitra Země. Osud lidstva je v ohrožení a posádka vědců musí udělat nemyslitelné - odpálit jadernou explozi a znovu aktivovat zemské jádro.

Hodnocení a recenze Jádro

In a time when there were a plethora of "end of the world" movies, this was....another one. I actually liked the characters a bit more than several of the other ones. But man, these premises got comical.

This movie is one of my guilty pleasures. Sure the movie isn't original but I'm entertained everytime I see it.

One of my favorites "end of the world" movies. A stellar cast, lots of great scenes and a very engaging flow and direction make for a highly entertaining movie.

The overall movie was interesting and at times exhilarating. But when he started looking at the technical stuff behind it, it got pretty far-fetched. At times, it was almost comical. But overall still a good movie to watch.

Theres scientific cherry-picking then there's The Core which ironically is more hollow than its name sake suggests

Like I need to say a lot about this one. First saw this in Eighth Grade science class, followed by our teacher running down a list of everything that was wrong. Aaron Eckhart and Hillary Swank pull out all the stops trying to help you hold up all that disbelief on your back. It's incredibly misguided and almost never boring. The very definition of the category "Stupid Science".
