- danfoy5. dubna 2026It’s not on the same level as the first two entries, but it commits sufficiently to being a fan-service movie that it’s one of the rare franchise reboots I feel actually gets the balance about right. It doesn’t take itself as seriously as the third and fourth instalments, adopting a tone probably most similar to T2 Judgement Day, in addition to its themes of ‘family’ and foreknowledge. The performances are fine, the films premise allows looking past some in-universe consistencies, Arnie is Arnie, and the special effects aren’t fatiguing. It’s not high cinema or anything, but for the fifth entry in a franchise I found it honestly pretty fun.
- Antonio30. dubna 2025Always enjoy rewatching the Terminator movies many times, but this one is always hard to get through. Good film and (mostly) good cast. Jason Clarke was a nice addtion, but Jai Courtney ruins the entire film for me, as he does with anything else he might pop up in that i'm watching. When I first saw this, hearing his narration in the beginning was a bad start, but having him in the film, is worse. He's just terrible. A shame they chose him for Reese. But other than my distain for this guy, the film is another fun one to watch.

Píše se rok 2029. John Connor, hlavní vůdce hnutí odporu pokračuje dál ve válce proti strojům. A již je na pokraji samotného vítězství. Přesto ho však stále tíží myšlenka neznámé budoucnosti včetně samotné jeho existence. Špionážní jednotka TECOM totiž odhalí nové spiknutí SkyNetu, hlavního mozku všech vzbouřených strojů - terminátorů. To je namířeno proti vyhlazení lidstva a jeho útoku na dvou frontách. Jednak v současnosti, ale také v minulosti, čímž navždy změní celou válku. Touto informací se Johnovy obavy naplňují. Navzdory tomuto osudu Connor pošle svého důvěryhodného poručíka Kyle Reese díky ukořistěnému časostroji také zpět v čase. Reesovým úkolem je zachránit život Connorovy matky a zajistit tak Johnovu existenci. Co však v minulosti Resse nečekal, je nejen shledání se s novým nepřátelským terminátorem T-1000 v lidské podobě a bojovnou Sarah Connorovou, matkou Johna, ale také s dalším Terminátorem.
