- cultfilmliker1. května 2025“I’m not an idiot, man. I watch TV.” Wow. Some incredibly complex, taboo subject matter. It definitely makes you think about storytelling, or even just art in general! Another level of surreal. It’s like Happiness at one of its extremes. Not as laugh out loud funny but hilarious nonetheless! The casting in these films is so phenomenal. Love it. Makes me miss Giamatti’s character in 30 Rock a lot lmao Gotta love having a super punchable child! Fun fact: It also has Mike Schank from American Movie in a small part! (Warning: It will make you want to revisit American Movie) A subject of a documentary playing a man filming a documentary in a film about making a documentary lol levels. It even includes an American Movie pun!! What an lol stunner of an ending. An anti Donnie Darko lol I don’t want to be famous but I do crave validation! Note: After seeing three of his films now, I will confidently say Todd Solondz should NOT be allowed to teach a film class lol jk…..kinda
