If you’re a fan of his works, it’s no surprise that it follows Kiyoshi’s fascination with the junction of psychology, the metaphysical, and day-to-day life. Rain, urban environments, and subdued colors reflect Kurosawa’s more general thematic interests in alienation and unresolved grief.
