Malý Remy je krysa, která vyrůstá společně s otcem a svojí velikou rodinou na okraji Paříže. Je ale jiný než ostatní, má totiž dokonalý čich a skutečně vytříbený vkus na jídlo – jako pravý gurmán. Touží experimentovat s opravdu kvalitními ingrediencemi, chutěmi a vůněmi, zkrátka vařit. Jednoho dne, když krade jídlo, se nechtěně oddělí od své rodiny a dostane se přímo před restauraci nejlepšího kuchaře Gusteaua. Spřátelí se s jeho synem Linguinim, který je kuchařský neumětel. Spojí své síly a dvojici se podaří stát se kuchařskou legendou. V cestě jim ale stojí velmi zákeřný, ale zároveň slavný kritik restaurací – Anton Ego.

- stuhannaford5. května 2025Whilst it takes quite some time to warm to the majority of characters, Remy feels like a touch of classic Disney from the start. The film offers hope and optimism against adversity, as you root for the little guy. It’s difficult not to wish that things go his way, as he strives to succeed in a world, made from a recipe not created to cater for him. In typical Disney fashion, hearts are melted and you leave with a smile… an enjoyable watch.
