- "THE MOVIE FANATIC"7. dubna 2026I will say this about "Open 24 Hours" I thought that the whole lighting, aesthetic & setting was great its a good looking movie to be fair. I also thought that the rain really added to the mood, tone & atmosphere of the film!! However the film as a whole didn't work for me at all...they leaned too heavily into the killers life, with our protagonist of the film being his ex-girlfriend and all that. And it just takes the suspense & mystique away and the last 20 Mins & ending was so disappointing, strange and unrealistic. The reason why I said that spoiler alert if you haven't seen it yet....was because after everything she went through that night, she's then working in a hairdressers and acting like nothing had happened. Yet she was traumatised before it all kicked off in her new job and the Mary character endured a lot that night, but yet she's totally fine that didn't make sense to me at all. I thought the pacing was off here and there....not all the way through just in certain spots I found there was a lot of exposition in there just to fill out the runtime. So my ratings that I'm going to be giving "Open 24 Hours" is a 2.25/5 Stars 🌟 & a 4/10
