Jason Grant a Marty Tanner, dva američtí kosmonauti, objeví na Měsíci stopy čtrnáct tisíc let vyhynulé kultury - mimozemský vesmírný koráb. Na Zem dopraví zvláštní vzorek podobný fotbalovému míči. Jen co přistanou, domnělý míč se změní v ničivého bojového kyborga. Vědci mezitím zjistí, že příčinou zániku prastaré měsíční kultury bylo působení zvláštního druhu robotických vetřelců, napůl strojů a napůl mrtvol, kteří byli při své někdejší misi zneužiti. Oba kosmonauti jsou vysláni dokončit výzkum na Měsíci. Zde však najdou již celou hodru rozzuřených kovových příšer, připravujících se na pozemskou invazi...(oficiální text distributora)

It’s simplistic, not very deep or compelling but makes for a decent late-night sci-fi romp to have on in the background. I am a Star Trek fan- The Original Series version, so I am used to giving a lot of slack to entertainment that might lack for depth and convincing special effects. It’s all about the stories and keeping yourself entertained for a few hours. It has a lot of Alien in its DNA, sprinkled with Terminator and of course Srak Trek. Walter Koenig is convincing enough to keep the story going, and an early Bruce Campbell keeps you fixated for most of the story. If you’re looking for ground-breaking cinema look elsewhere, but if you want to throw on some light-weight sci-fi late at night this fits the bill perfectly.
- Scott Smith26. července 2025I'm not sure how this movie slipped past me on VHS tape in 1990. It was exactly the type of cheap horror movie that I liked back then. Plus, it has a younger Bruce Campbell in it. Sure, it looks cheesy and has cheap effects, but for it's time and budget it's not a bad movie. Glad I finally watched it.
