- GBWest15. července 2025Mr Ferrell, Will. This, by far, bar none is your best film ever. That is my personal opinion. It was fun for all ages not just for sup...hmm. How to finish that sentence. There is depth of character and backstory, character arc, action, comedy, drama, romance and for once you weren't the worst part of your own movie. Probably because you were playing the straight man to somebody else's comedy. When your character was comedic it was in well measured reaction to other characters and not your usual antics. Thank you sir. I love this film. The casting is fantastic because they delivered dialogue that was memorable for a story driven film for kids of all ages. When my kids want to watch this film, I'm all in. The characters are interesting, the tale of deciet by Brad Pitt's character makes you think that even super heroes can get tired of hero worship. Bad guys are not always as bad as they are made out to be, and can grow beyond their start. Power can go to one's head and turn even the most innocuous person into the person they really are based on the life they've had up to this point in their lives. This is a well scripted, directed and acted film that should be a part of your collection as much as it a part of mine.

Megamysl nebyl vždycky darebák. Když ho rodiče na rodné planetě posadili do vesmírného vozítka a poslali do světa, byl celkem roztomilé miminko. A protože ředitel věznice na úpěnlivé prosby vězňů, zda si toho drobečka mohou nechat, reagoval kladně, získal Megamysl hned celou řadu tatínků se zločineckými sklony, které mu budou úspěšně řadu let předávat. Dospělý Megamysl tráví veškerý čas tím, že provokuje svou nemesis, hrdinného Metromana, zejména prostřednictvím pravidelných únosů a důmyslného týrání jeho přítelkyně, rozkošné televizní reportérky Roxanne Ritchieové. Ze vzájemné konfrontace vždycky odchází tento génius zločinu poražený a ponížený. Bere to však sportovně a všechny neúspěchy považuje jen za cestu k vytčenému cíli – definitivnímu Metromanovu zničení. Když se mu to nakonec podaří, s hrůzou si uvědomí, že dál nemá pro co žít. Dobro bylo poraženo..
