Watched with the wife and kids and it went over pretty well. Except my wife, who is O-, didn’t appreciate that we started referring to her as blood bag.

Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron ground the chaos with intense, memorable performances. Fury Road isn’t just a return—it’s a reinvention, and a brilliant one at that.

With incredible action scenes and a gripping narrative, this movie will easily keep you entertained throughout. I also love the world building in this flic, and all the little details that make up a great story, like the war boys commitment to dying gloriously while serving their leader Immortan Joe. "What a lovely day" indeed.

HOWEVER, after subsequent viewings (initiated by others) I came to really enjoy this movie. Its actually rather thought provoking and the audio & visuals are superb so it gets a big boost if you have a nice set up for the viewing.
