- Vincent Reggiannini25. října 2025This is an interesting film, well done in most aspects - but it just brings a feeling of unease and sickness as you see images of dead bodies littering the landscape and the endless, monetized lines of single-minded climbers taking a route carved out by previous climbers. I can understand the appeal, but when you peek in from the outside you just see the pointless, selfish drive of dozens of well-to-do adventurists simply adding another notch to their belts by literally standing in line amidst the trash and dead bodies. 33% of all the deaths involved at Everest are the sherpas who endlessly cart the useless comfort items of a few dozen well-off “adventurers”, and that climbing Everest is no longer the mark of excellence, but the focus of the selfish dreams of a small group of delusional freaks.
