- cultfilmliker22. dubna 2026God Dr. Evil is such a good Lorne impression lol Is it possible the man has been elusive for so long bc he’s not actually that interesting of a subject? And knew it would never live up to any hype? Weird choice to decide to make it now but I’m not about to complain! It’s tough to make a documentary about Lorne, and this film is partly about that, but it’s tougher to refrain from laughing when such an impressive number of the funniest people in the world are featured. I love Conan and Robert Smigel both a lot. I loved seeing TV Funhouse a lot. Seeing Adam Sandler reminded me I didn’t get They’re All Going To Laugh At You on vinyl at Record Store Day tho and that made me sad. S/o Conan on that album lol (At least I do have a signed Fred Armisen vinyl 💅) Chris Rock’s Rob Schneider joke made me cackle. And obviously Mulaney I miss Please Don’t Destroy. BRING THEM BACK Watched at Warren Regal West (instead of going to the last showing of Speed Racer 4K in IMAX - fuck but oh well) Currently Ranked #22/57 in 2026 Ranked Added to The Cinema That Never Sleeps full disclosure: I changed my rating four times on the way home. It has had three different amounts of stars in my head. I’m conflicted bc I love it but not for the right reasons lolol
