    A good movie. Very good acting. But a tired and old story. It was like watching "Notting Hill" with some story line changes and different characters. But the exact same plot line.

    The chemistry between Theron and Rogen is unexpectedly strong, and Theron really shines in the comedic role—turns out she’s got some comedic chops we didn’t know about. The film also has a sharp, satirical edge, poking fun at the ridiculous qualities American voters seem to gravitate toward in presidential candidates.

    Solid rom-com. The conflict feels reasonable, the editing is good, the chemistry is good, and it's pretty funny at times. My biggest gripe is the "both sides" bullshit about Republicans,, which was stupid when this movie came out and has aged very poorly since.
