Kde se dívat na Leviatan
- MaxRider15. března 2026Basically Alien meets The Thing under the sea, loaded with Stan Winston monster gore
- Peter Bickford29. ledna 2026Peter Weller (Robocop) leads a better than average cast in a story that's handicapped by the screenplay's need for the crew to act incredibly stupidly in order for the second half of the movie to happen. Scary in the 80s, it doesn't weather nearly as well as either Alien (which it clearly stole much of its inspiration from) or the other underwater thrillers of the late 80s.
- Zokkiie24. června 2025This is a slick, atmospheric underwater thriller that wears its influences proudly. It doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but its mix of Alien and The Thing vibes makes for a tense, creature-filled ride. Solid practical effects, a strong cast, and a moody deep-sea setting help it rise above typical B-movie fare. Not a classic, but definitely a fun watch for sci-fi horror fans.
- Hannover2k10. března 2025It's no Robocop but it's a passable underwater thriller.
- jackmeat28. ledna 2025My quick rating - 5,8/10. This movie had the unfortunate timing of coming out the same year as a behemoth of a movie dealing with a very similar subject, The Abyss. Putting the comparison aside, this movie still holds up quite well, maybe not as much as The Abyss but still worth watching. The acting is well done and even decades later the creatures look good. This is accentuated by the excellent camera work throughout the confined space of an underwater mining ship. Tons of reviews out there on this one, so I'll end it there.
