Those with whom they forged a common dream, a relationship or a family. Such tragic and devastating news cannot be accepted as an everyday occurrence to which we can become insensitive. No. Because every victim who loses her or his life takes away a little piece of what makes us most human as a society. With each victim, their dreams, their present, their future and the hopes and dreams of those who love them die too. Trafficking in women and children for the purpose of sexual exploitation is a heinous crime. Abduction, abuse, rape, enslaving and selling another human being... Deprivation of rights and identity and often murder. "Irina's Letter" draws directly from the source of true stories, told in the first person.
