However, in 2025, now that Nazis aren't nearly as controversial anymore, it hits different. May this movie serve as a warning of shifting appetites. Nobody is going to stay being polite to Nazis for much longer.
- darsan24. května 2025"you know somethin', utivich? i think this just might be my masterpiece." christoph waltz and brad pitt were GOATED in thiss and it's even better the second time and i can't wait to see brad pitt again in the f1 movie next month. quentin tarantino is definitely one of the best directors out there who captures gore and humor perfectly and it's amazing to see.
- zappy.7. května 2026This movie has gotten so many mixed reviews. I’ll be honest - I don’t understand any reviews that don’t favor this one. This is a top, top pick for me. A satirical comedy, with expensive suspense that will truly have you on the edge of your seat. I’d have to consider this a classic; phenomenal acting, immersive story telling, and an ending that will have you giving a standing ovation to the screen. 5/5; 10/10. Please watch this if you haven’t.
- Sean Murphy30. května 2025I feel a movie like this is just top tier. Dialogue,plot,action, cinematography soundtrack, cast...it's just top tier all around. I could understand if some just can't handle the violence and I could understand that but if you can get past that IB had some of the absolute best acting you will see in a film ever.
- Jakeys3. ledna 2026Really, really good. I can see why many people consider this his best work. The writing, the imagery, the acting, awesome. The scene in the underground bar with Fassbender is one of the most gripping things I've ever watched, genuinely captivating. The intro isn't far off. Everything in this movie is firing on all cylinders. Ironically, the Basterds themselves were the least interesting thing in this movie. Brad Pitt's great in it, but the other guys less so and the characters were completely outshined by everyone else.

Německé vojáky ještě nepřestaly bolet nohy po smělé invazi do západní Evropy, když mladičké Shosanně přímo před očima německý důstojník Hans Landa vyvraždil členy její rodiny. Ona sama jen tak tak unikne do Paříže, kde se ukryje pod novou identitu provozovatelky biografu. Na jiném místě hákovým křížem rozkopané Evropy se pod vedením lehce zupáckého amerického poručíka Aldo Rainea formuje neobvyklá vojenská jednotka. Úkolem jejích členů je nejen přežít na území plném nacistů a jejich přisluhovačů, ale zároveň likvidovat jejich elity a to tak efektně, že tím mezi nimi budou šířit strach a paniku. Říkají si Pancharti a právě je čeká ta nejtěžší mise, která může zcela změnit průběh války. V jednom pařížském biografu se chystá premiéra nového německého propagandistického eposu a téhle události se má účastnit řada nacistických špiček (možná i samotný Hitler). Úkolem Panchartů bude na akci proniknout a ukázat šéfům Třetí říše, jaké to je, když je člověk po smrti.
