It genuinely has everything you could possibly want: great comedic moments, genuinely scary and suspenseful alien scenes, and non-stop massive action. When it came out, seeing those colossal starships fill up the screen was mind-blowing nothing on that scale had been done quite like it before. Will Smith punching an alien in the face? Absolute peak fiction.
- digitalsimian3. července 2026Great movie. Tastefully done with semi-decent SFX from the time when directors gave a crap about the art of cinema, not how the movie trended on Instabook or whatever. The story is a bit shallow at the end of the day, but that's not why you're watching this movie, right? WTF lean back a bit and enjoy the ride. Throw in some Will Smith, Jeff Goldblum, Vivica A. Fox & Randy Quaid at the golden years of their careers. It does get better than this, but not often. The one liner count alone makes this film mandatory for every kid born from 2010 onwards.
