All three of my kids enjoyed it, my daughter even cried by the end, but I found myself a bit bored, particularly in the middle. This felt like the emotional center of the film was driving towards reconnecting people with their IF. I wanted more of connection with the, you know, non-imaginary characters. When the film opens, it really felt like we were headed towards an emotional rollercoaster with a young family navigating through tragedy and heartbreak. Every time it felt like we were going to dive into something deeply emotional, I felt like the film pulled back as they were afraid to get too dark or heavy. Aside from that, I can’t really say anything bad about the film. It was enjoyable. It just really didn’t hit me as emotionally as I thought it was going to when it started.
