    watched this for sheryl lee as a twin peaks day special screening and maybe that’s on me for being baited into watching it but i just couldn’t click with this film. there’s poignancy in the subject matter and the production design and lighting are very fun and creative, but it felt like it was trying to emulate psychological and surrealist sequences of other artists rather than come together in an authentic way. i also barely got any sheryl lee and that made me sad.
