Režie: Mack SennettCarrie's papa strenuously objects to Ben as a son-in-law, and so the young people decide to elope, Ben to give her the signal of two whistles when he arrives that night at the house. Just before his arrival, two bungling burglars attempt to burglarize the house, one remaining outside to watch. While on the watch, the would-be burglar whistles to his companion inside for a match to light his pipe. This indiscretion was their undoing, but it worked fortunately for the young lover, who got an opportunity to play hero.
