Kde se dívat na Ohnivá liška
- Richard Davis12. září 2026This is a great film, and a vastly underrated film from Eastwood. If you like Caine as Harry Palmer, you'll probably like this. People complain that it's 'too slow' - this is garbage. This is a cold war political thriller, that has given some thought as to how a mission like this might be able to be accomplished. Slow, careful, thoughtful moves. The action sequences are pretty damn good given that this is about 44 years old, and the moment that Clint first sees the Firefox in person is excellent and impactful. Watch it, it's an excellent film.
- marshalsea25. dubna 2026One of Clint's weaker films. Some great moments, but needs a bit of momentum. One of those that probably reads great as a book but doesn't quite translate to film. Acting is great, particular stand out from Warren Clarke, Nigel Hawthorne, and Kenneth Colley.
- tony.ale013. ledna 2026*Firefox* (1982) is a reminder of when Hollywood trusted audiences to be patient and engaged. The film builds tension through atmosphere, character, and intelligent writing rather than nonstop spectacle. Its slow burn makes the payoff thrilling, and the Cold War stakes feel grounded and real. Today’s Hollywood rarely produces movies like this—films that take their time, respect the viewer, and let suspense grow naturally. *Firefox* proves that strong writing and restraint can be far more gripping than excess.
- flavo433. ledna 2026Firefox is a brisk, engaging Cold War thriller that leans into the tension and paranoia of its era. Clint Eastwood stars as Mitchell Gant, a troubled former pilot recruited for an audacious mission: infiltrate the Soviet Union and steal a cutting‑edge experimental aircraft. The film unfolds in two distinct halves. The first is a stealth‑driven espionage segment, with Gant navigating the tightly controlled USSR in a series of tense, cloak‑and‑dagger sequences. The second shifts gears into high‑stakes aerial action as the mission reaches its explosive payoff. As an action film, it’s solid—well‑paced, atmospheric, and anchored by Eastwood’s stoic presence. The story remains compelling, especially for fans of Cold War fiction. However, the once‑impressive visual effects haven’t aged gracefully; the flight sequences now feel dated compared to modern standards. Even so, Firefox remains an entertaining relic of its time, blending espionage and aviation with classic ’80s flair.
