Jimmy Carr is hilarious and the only one that is allowed to take Saudi money bc I’m pretty sure he still owes England back taxes Felt very Wayans / ZAZ-ish! Obviously a little Monty Python as well. Katherine Waterston is always lovely to see! Fun comedic acting! Same complaint as I’m always going to have but it sucks that I’ve seen the funniest parts multiple times already bc of the trailers! Watched at Warren Regal 21 with my mommy
- Patrick Wai15. února 2026Fackham Hall is what happens when Downton Abbey gets hit on the head and wakes up thinking it’s The Naked Gun. It has all the usual aristocratic nonsense—snobby nobles, long-suffering servants, and people dramatically announcing tea—but now everyone is also falling down stairs, misunderstanding basic words, or accidentally insulting the monarchy. The humor swings between dumb and clever, often at the same time. There’s slapstick, sharp wordplay, and so many hidden background jokes that you’ll find yourself pausing and rewinding like you’re investigating a crime. Half the funniest moments aren’t even the focus of the scene. The cast deserves credit for committing fully to the stupidity. Watching very serious actors behave like complete idiots—with absolute sincerity—is the real punchline.
