Příběh výjimečného muže, pozoruhodného zejména tím, že si mnohem víc než s lidmi rozuměl se zvířaty. A to doslova. Náš doktor Dolittle ovšem není nudný veterinář, nýbrž stoprocentní dobrodruh, po jehož boku se nelze nudit.
Kde se dívat na Dolittle
- macaronz30. června 2026Dolittle took a massive beating from critics upon release, but looking at it purely as a vibrant, light hearted family film rather than a serious blockbuster completely changes the experience. While critics buried this film under a mountain of negative reviews, Dolittle is honestly not as bad as people make it out to be. For a younger audience, it is a highly entertaining adventure packed with impressive visual effects that bring the animals to life with remarkable realism. My main critique lies with Robert Downey Jr.'s accent, which felt incredibly forced and poor; the performance would have landed much better had he just stuck to his natural tone and voice. A few of the jokes admittedly fall flat and feel a bit lame, but as a whole, it remains a fun, entertaining watch for the family.
- borhan922. března 2026To change things up I decided to watch DoLittle the remake of the Dr Dolittle movies this time staring Ironman himself Robert Downey Jnr with a star studded supporting cast brining then animals to life via there awesome voice work. Just thinking about it, this could have been awesome with Robin Williams as well if he were still around. When this came out back in 2020, I heard nothing but negative nancy reviews on how bad this remake was. However, I beg to differ, as I felt this movie brought the series back to life and gave it a new lease on family fun and gave it heart again. The brightness and life of this movie, the cinematography used and the locations this movie was shot in were beautiful, and I loved watching the blue and green nature shots. Good family fun, although the multiple times that I tried to get my daughter to watch the movie, she said no and did not want a bar of it. Maybe 8 and above or 7 and above, depending if your seven-year-old is in the mood. lol This can be something that you can add to your movie library; it is worth it and can be rewatched as a family favourite. If you think about it, being a movie released during covid this is not bad to watch back then or now. I may buy this on Blu-Ray.
- Skittlesx22. června 2025I recently rewatched Dolittle, and I found myself enjoying it all over again. The story is charming, and there’s a certain magic to the film that really shines through — I don’t want to spoil too much. While the CGI isn’t quite as polished as I remembered, it doesn’t take away from the fun and warm feeling this movie gave me. Still surprised there’s no sequel yet, tbh!
- Nathaniel “KingBear” Reifenheiser13. října 2025Ok, yet another movie that was let down by the lack of imagination in our society. This isn’t the same movie as any other Dolittle with the same name. Dr. Dolittle doesn’t have animals talking to him — he speaks their language. If you’re going to compare it to anything, compare it to the original, not the Eddie Murphy version. The movie opens with Robert Downey Jr. grunting, growling, clicking, and making every other animalistic sound you can imagine. He’s not losing his mind — that ship already sailed — those are just the ramblings of a man who hasn’t spoken to another human in years. This film has it all: comedy, action, great acting, strong voice work, and an honestly wonderful story. I think people went in expecting Eddie Murphy’s Dolittle and missed that this was a remake and re-imagining of the original. And if that doesn’t sell you, there’s a scene where a parrot tells a gorilla to kick a tiger in the “down there.” Watch this movie if you're willing to ignore previous iterations of the Dr and just want a good clean laugh.
- ርልዪረ12. února 2025Still not sure what to say about this film. I personally enjoyed it, will need to see it again soon so as to watch the film better. Plenty of digital magic , the main car actors who you see not hear are good, all top actors though the 2 ladies or girl actors are not bad . The story line is different to the original version back in the 50's. you will need to make up your own minds as to weather you like it or not, but do watch it.
