V roce 1923 byla někde ve Finsku shlédnuta kometa, jejíž vliv vyvolal sled neobvyklých událostí. Jedna žena zavolala do svého domu policii s tím, že v budově je muž, který vůbec není jejím manželem. Když se ji policejní strážník pokoušel přesvědčit o tom, že osoba v domě je skutečně její muž, ona odpověděla, že svého manžela v předešlý den zabila.
Současnost. Osm přátel se spolu po dlouhé době setkává při společné večeři v domě jednoho z nich a nad zemí opět prolétá kometa ...

Unknown cast (except one) do a stellar job keeping all dialogue feel completely natural. And the story? Oh god how I love the story. It's an urban campfire spooky tale, if you ask me. Deceptively simple. Fundamentally complex. The kind of movie that stays with you, long after you've watched it. Can't recommend it enough.
