    Let's begin with the negatives: the movie wasn't as funny as Shaun of the Dead, nor was it very scary. The acting was just okay, while the story remained relatively linear. However, somehow it all worked. The characters were likeable, and there were quite a few touching moments. At times the film was brilliant, whether it be the cinematography, or how the rural Irish were portrayed - I enjoyed the little surprises here and there. The Director did well on a very limited budget.
