Hodnocení a recenze Blade
- flavo43před 18 hBlade burst onto the scene as one of Marvel’s earliest successful solo franchises, and it did so with style, attitude, and a world that felt instantly lived‑in. The film builds a rich vampire mythology—secret societies, ancient rituals, and a gritty underworld—that gives the story real texture. Wesley Snipes is electric in the lead role, delivering razor‑sharp fight choreography and a cool, commanding presence that defines the character. The action sequences are some of the film’s biggest strengths, blending martial arts, gunplay, and supernatural flair into something genuinely exciting. The supporting cast and lore help ground the film, making its universe feel expansive without over explaining. Where Blade stumbles is in its finale. The showdown with Deacon Frost, while conceptually strong, suffers from dated, cartoonish CGI that undercuts the tension. Still, the film’s energy, world‑building, and unforgettable lead performance make it a standout and a strong start to the trilogy.
- Humpty20. února 2025Wesley Snipes
- Kit Lazer3. března 2025There are a dozen or so movies I’ve probably seen 100 times. This is 1. I’m gonna find the others now. Stay tuned.
- DcrBane9. listopadu 2025Always a good movie
- Richard Thornton22. července 2025Best opening action scene to any action movie. Whole movie is a banger through and through. Cool hero vs cool villain. Holds up.
- DK12. května 2025The best and the only true Vampire movie that's not cringe and lame, Wesley Snipes was great in this. Loved it as a kid, and everytime I come back to it to watch it again I always enjoy it. Also has one of the best opening scenes of any movie, and for many of us was the gateway to the rave scene that we grew up with in 2000's.
- Risk The Bard22. dubna 2025only blade can make woosh sound effects work as well as they do, I don't make the rules
- Ddoughnut20. října 2025Well, as my first R rated movie, it was decent. The action sequences were awesome but the pacing was SUPER slow. Also, funny story, (I was watching this with my dad) when we had about 15-20 minutes left, my younger brother (8, turning 9 next month came into the room and my dad told him to leave the room because he didn't want to stay up until 3 am because of nightmares lol
- bogometer22. května 2025Wesley Snipes in his prime. If I could only watch one vampire movie this would be it. Worth five stars just for the bloodbath scene alone.
- RandomSheepZA20. září 20255he movie that started the MCU! While the graphics are cheesy by today's standards it's is a brilliant fast paced movie!
- Zokkiie8. června 2025Just a stylish, action-packed vampire flick with Wesley Snipes delivering a seriously cool performance. The fight scenes are intense, the blood rave intro is iconic, and the whole film has a unique '90s edge. The story’s a bit basic and some effects haven’t aged great, but it’s still a fun, badass ride that helped shape modern superhero movies. Definitely worth a watch.
- godzill41626. dubna 2025Blade is badass, Snipes is in a holy matrimony with this role. No one could be better. But I wish there were more liberties taken creatvely. Its like this film would be better suited to a weirder and further unique director, maybe a darker one. Fincher or something.
- ርልዪረ17. února 2025Blade came out in 1998 at the time comic book movies were going down the drain with the Batman movies, Spawn, and other properties not doing well with critics and audiences. Many did not realize Blade was a comic-book with no Marvel logo and Stan Lee's name appearing briefly at the opening credits. I would say that the films biggest strength is Wesley Snipes as Blade, he manages to be calm and reserve for the most part with some scenes showing more emotion when the film demands it. The rest of the cast which include Kris Kristofferson as Whistler, Stephen Dorff as Frost, and N'Bushe Wright ad Karen all do fine in their roles. I will say if your someone who lets say grew up with this film and your re-watching it, don't be surprised if the film hasn't aged with grace. That said i kinda liked the late 1990s style which gave the film its own identity, the only issue it at times the movie feels like a music video due to its use of fast forwarding and some editing. Stephen Norrington doesn't do a bad job as the director and its a shame that his career was ruined with that League of Extraordinary Gentlemen film, but he could of eased up on the odd directing choices i mentioned. Also some of the CGI is pretty bad by modern standards (but for the late 1990s it was passable). So in all i do enjoy Blade and in spite of its problems, it is my favorite of the trilogy mostly due to the last third. Not that the first 2/3 were bad, but the last third had some plot twists i didn't expect and some fun action scenes along with a death of a main character (granted its undone by the next film but it was still a good scene). So i recommend you give Blade a watch.
