- Callum6. června 2026⭐⭐½ – Bikini Model Academy – Exactly what it says on the tin. Some films aim for greatness. Some aim for awards. Bikini Model Academy aims for exactly what the title promises and absolutely nothing more. This is a cheap thrill built around good-looking people, light comedy, and an excuse to spend as much time as possible around swimsuits. There’s no deep message hidden beneath the surface, no grand character arcs, and certainly no attempt to reinvent cinema. The film knows what it's selling, and to its credit, it doesn't pretend otherwise. That honesty is probably its greatest strength. You aren't lured in with promises of a clever plot only to be disappointed later. What you see on the cover is pretty much what you get for the entire runtime. The comedy is hit-and-miss, the story is little more than a framework to move between scenes, and the performances are exactly what you'd expect from this sort of production. None of that makes it particularly good, but it does make it strangely straightforward to judge. In the end, it's difficult to be too harsh on a movie that delivers precisely the product it advertises. Equally, it's difficult to praise it much beyond that. You get what's advertised. No more and no less. 🍹 A brightly coloured beach cocktail — sweet, shallow, and consumed more for the presentation than the substance.

V této potrhlé komedii od News Film Cinema se s T.J. a Benjim, dvěma kamarády z Kalifornie, rozejdou jejich dívky, a oni si proto založí vlastní modelingovou akademii Bikini, aby si vydělali nějaké peníze a seznámili se s novými děvčaty. S trochou pomoci T.J.ova strýčka Seymoura (Gary Busey) začnou hoši nabírat krásné dívky, ale jejich starý nepřítel ze základky Grub Snout, který má vlastní školu modelingu, se je snaží zastavit. Mezinárodní hvězda Morgan Fairchild hraje celebritu, která jako čestný host zasedne v porotě velmi tvrdé i komické soutěže Bikini Pose-Off mezi oběma školami. Ať vyhraje ten nejlepší tým!
