- macaronzpřed 5 dnyEven though a few movies on similar topics came out around the same time, Bala is still a really solid attempt. Ayushmann plays his role brilliantly as usual, but Yami Gautam was the real standout for me she played her character so well! The only thing that made zero sense was why they felt the need to give Bhumi Pednekar dark face makeup. Her performance itself was fine, but the decision behind her look was just bizarre and unnecessary. Overall though, it’s still a super fun, funny, and well-acted movie.
