Kvůli Susanině zdraví však musí svůj pobyt zde narychlo prodloužit... Chůva Amelia se bojí, že nestihne svatbu příbuzných v Mexiku. Spolu se synovcem se rozhodne, že tam tajně odjede i s opatrovanými dětmi... V Japonsku řeší mladá hluchoněmá dívka své psychické problémy. Ty jsou způsobené jednak sebevraždou matky, jednak neschopností komunikace s otcem... Synové marockého pastýře dostali kvůli hlídání ovcí od otce loveckou pušku. Samozřejmě ji chtějí vyzkoušet. Kulka letí dál, než mysleli...
