Mark, Ismael and Johan are boys from the street. Like every year after Christmas, they are looking for Christmas trees for the annual highlight: the Christmas tree burning in Amsterdam North. What seems simple, namely collecting 'used' Christmas trees, turns out to be a difficult task for the boys. bad luck, minor misunderstandings and humiliations follow each other in rapid succession and the three friends become increasingly frustrated.
