It’s especially satisfying seeing familiar faces (or voices, in this case) branching into animation and delivering performances every bit as good as their live-action work. Story-wise, this is classic American family-film territory: wholesome humour, a bit of wonder, a dash of drama, and a guaranteed happy ending. But the real delight is in the journey.
