The island sequences crank up the tension, the scares hit hard, and the quiet, emotional moments really land. The pacing slows a bit in the middle, and that hearing-aid-as-alien-buster is pure sci-fi — I like to think John Krasinski, as one of his multiverse Reed Richards, just stole Tony Stark’s arc reactor to power it lol. Still, a smart, thrilling, and surprisingly heartfelt sequel.
