The brothers are growing up, the fights are tamer, and the sense of wonder that powered the first film has mellowed into something closer to Saturday-afternoon comfort viewing. This time, we get a love interest for one of the boys — a natural evolution for anyone who grew up alongside them. It’s a sweet touch that mirrors the audience’s own growing up, even if it doesn’t add much kick to the story. The addition of Hulk Hogan, at the height of his career, injects some muscle-bound charisma into the mix. Sure, he’s a wrestler and not a martial artist, but in a series built on flying kicks and big personalities, it works surprisingly well. The real surprise comes from Jim Varney, forever etched in memory as Ernest P. Worrell. Seeing him play against type adds a layer of curiosity — a familiar face doing something just a little different, and somehow making it work. Between him and Hogan, the film leans more on star power than story, but it still holds together as an easy, cheerful watch. Tři upovídaní bratři, patnáctiletý Rocky, čtrnáctiletý Colt a osmiletý Tum Tum tráví léto u svého dědečka Moriho a pilně se učí bojovému umění ninjů. Jednoho dne se vydají společně se svou sousedkou, třináctiletou počítačovou kouzelnicí Amandou, která je dcerou tvůrce speciálních filmových efektů, na výlet do zábavního parku Mega Mountain, aby si tu užili spoustu legrace. Tu si sice užijí, ale úplně jinak než čekali. Ve stejnou dobu se totiž do zábavního parku vypraví také hanebná teroristka Medusa v čele své malé armády ninjů. Se svým hlavním přisluhovačem Lotharem hodlá obsadit park a žádat deset milionů výkupného. Policie a FBI bezradně postávají kolem parku, a tak se zdá, že jediný, kdo se může bandě postavit jsou Rocky, Colt a malý Tum Tum s pomocí Amandy a bývalé televizní hvězdy Dava Dragona, který tu čirou náhodou měl naposledy živě vystoupit před ukončením své televizní show.
