The English railway engineer is featured in this eight-part television series 'The Fortune Knight - The Adventures of Robert Curwich', is based on the book and Heinz Oskar Wuttig wrote the screenplay. Filmed in Bath in the 1980's. One particular scene is set in the London stock exchange of the 1800's which was filmed in the Pump Room at the Roman Baths in Bath.
