The Encounter is a Christian television drama broadcast on the Great American Pure Flix streaming service. Based on the 2010 film The Encounter and its 2012 sequel Paradise Lost, the series—which ran for two eight-episode seasons from 2016 to 2020—features Bruce Marchiano reprising his role as Jesus Christ (aka The Man), who comes to the aid of various individuals in real, relatable scenarios.
