An important town on the Daqi Kingdom's northern border, Baicheng, was attacked by Beiyi using a strategy. Baicheng's guard Tang Yao led his followers in a valiant effort to fight back, but they were overpowered and all fell victim to sacrifice. Tang Ying, the second daughter, was the only one to live. The fact that his father gave his life in defense of the nation but was then accused of working with the enemy only makes Tang Ying furious.
