It is modern times, and during an attempt to find glucose for his diabetic girlfriend, Greg, a 16-year-old star rugby player, engages in a fistfight with a young man named Carl. Tragic news soon follows when Greg is told that he will never play rugby again, leaving Greg with a desire for revenge. Jess, not in agreement with Greg's motives, helps persuade him to seek an alternate course of action.
