Amid the 1899 Boer War in South Africa, the father of a local farming family, Pieter, is in dire need of medical treatment due to a severe leg injury he sustained. When two enemy soldiers happen upon the farm, they soon discover that they are the only ones who can help Pieter, their foe, survive.
