Season 1
Mads is working hard for his career in a large supermarket chain in Copenhagen. The employee's job dream is to become the best grocer in Denmark. However, Mads' life changes abruptly when his wife Vicky becomes pregnant. The couple must start a family and be the parents of a baby. Mads panics and has no desire to become a father, but would rather focus on his career and his work. On top of that, the increase in the family with a child means that they have to move home to mother Vicky's hometown DK 8900 Randers in Jutland. It will be a step down the career ladder when Mads starts in father-in-law Gert's local grocery store in Jutland and becomes a colleague in the use of Niels and Rikke. However, Mads quickly discovers that things are not going well in the small community, as his evil brother-in-law Conrad tries to take over the shop, while Mads receives good advice from Henning.
