Follows the story of Claire Randall, a married combat nurse from 1945 who is mysteriously swept back in time to 1743, where she is immediately thrown into an unknown world in which her life is threatened. When she is forced to marry Jamie Fraser, a chivalrous and romantic young Scottish warrior, a passionate relationship is ignited that tears Claire's heart between two vastly different men in two irreconcilable lives.

- stevencaceres245July 7, 2025The first three seasons are just plain amazing! It is graphic and violent and greedy and fun and sexy and just so much cool going on! And then when they switched to the new evil dude, it totally kind of changed the arc of the show and I found myself slowly losing interest. I only watch this because my wife was in love with it, and then I started watching it, and I fell in love with it, but then we both kind of came to the same conclusion that it had become what we were always afraid of a sappy romance novel. None of the character decisions make sense. All that being said, you should still watch the first three seasons.
