Mister Ed Ratings & Reviews
- Noah Austin BrooksJuly 13, 2025I absolutely love 'Mister Ed!' It first aired in 1961, and I think it's the best show ever!
- RichyEOctober 18, 2025Saw this as a kid in black and white on Dutch TV, probably early Sunday mornings when the grown-ups were still asleep. A talking horse? Sure, why not. Wilbur Post moves into a house with a barn and inside that barn is Mister Ed, a horse who only talks to him. As a kid, I didn’t question it. The lips moved, the voice came out and it was hilarious. Mister Ed was sarcastic, clever and always causing trouble. Wilbur was the straight man, constantly trying to explain away the chaos. The show was gentle, silly and oddly comforting. No violence, no stress, just a man and his horse having sitcom misadventures.
