A Star is BornFreeman and Russ want to shoot a film with the Gnarfs. They're not exactly talented actors, but brilliant for action scenes. But before the première, the film becomes a victim of the flames, and so Freeman saves the event by staging a shadow-play.

MonsterplantsGenetic manipulation turns harmless chomp plants into monstrous specimens. The Gnarfs eat the plants and as a result all they do is imitate Freeman in a lethargic manner.

Martial ArtsFreeman wishes to canalise the Gnarfs' natural capacities for civilisational purposes. He tries to teach them Asian martial arts. Due to a misunderstanding, Freeman feels challenged to a duel with Gabba.
