- ƇAugust 31, 2025This show is dark and addictive. I have watched it a few times over the years and I can say it stands the test of time, it's a classic. It has some campy moments that made me laugh so hard, and other serious moments that made me cry. It's about friendship and taking care of each other, but there is definitely some dark humor, some hilarious, some sad moments, all in all a 10/10 show. It's a prime time soap, but not just for women, men will like it too. If you like this show, you'll love Devious Maids as well. They share some writers and some of the actors from Desperate Housewives also appear on Devious Maids. They don't make TV like this anymore, and it's sad.
