"Adventures in the Emerald City" is a Russian animated cartoon based on the first two Oz books by Lyman Frank Baum, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (1900) and The Wonderful Land of Oz (1904). Its release was timed to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the original fairy tale.
