The War of the Roses
Directed by Danny DeVitoOliver and Barbara Rose live happily as a married couple--until she starts to imagine what life would be like without him and likes what she sees. They both want to stay in the house, so they begin a campaign to force each other to leave. In the middle of their fighting is D'Amato, the divorce lawyer, who gets to see how far each will go to get rid of the other, and boy, do they go far.

- cultfilmlikerOctober 12, 2025I now view Danny DeVito much differently bc that foot scene literally made me gag Loved the remake so I figured I should watch this! Not nearly as much of a lighthearted romp! The direction and set design were incredible! Enjoyed the acting! A more dramatic tone than the biting comedy of Olivia Colman in the remake for sure! “A large Ziploc bag”!? What the fuck !?!
