Following the disappearance of the Beaumont children in 1966, Colin's primary school is warned about a strange man seen in the vicinity of the school. Real and imaginary characters and events begin to merge as Colin becomes obsessed with 'the man in the blue and white holden'. This film recalls the childhood fears drummed into us by teachers and parents of strangers in cars.
