- Rustam ChhetryOctober 22, 2025Great Movie
- gman5608October 19, 2025Great adaption of the book (although some additions have been made) and looks awesome in 4k
- maxnaughtyJuly 4, 2025Just excellent
- darthtoonSeptember 5, 2025This was really good, not to the book exactly, but still popcorn-entertaining.
- Chris chatterje doodyAugust 19, 2025Great if you like delving deep in to the minutia of the legendarium of middle earth. But for casual watchers slow to start and often the songs and jokes fall a bit flat. A choice has clearly been made to make this more than the book ever was and you cant help wonder how it kept the title of the Hobbit. Their are a lot of charachters to give screenspace to. But a valient effort for such a rich world.
- Greg AlanAugust 3, 2025Feel good introduction to a new universe and the impressive all-encompassing imagination of Tolkein.
- flux_blairJuly 22, 2025Much much better than I remember. Still should have been 2 films than 3
- mickerdooJuly 13, 2025Enjoyable precursor adventure with some nicely though out fight scenes and escapes. Freeman is a good choice. Set up for Smaug.
- NickJune 26, 2025The CGI felt a bit off sometimes and the Wilhelm scream always makes a movie feel cheap but I love the visuals
- Mister ArnMay 14, 2025I am a fan of the world that Tolkien created. It was a great experience being transported to Middle Earth and journeying to the Lonely Mountain. The music and visuals were great, making each scene fun to watch.
- Kit LazerApril 5, 2025Hey I liked it a little more
- JosephJune 13, 2025Personally love it.
- Daniel GustavssonOctober 12, 2024I actually wanted to walk out of the theater on this one after like half an hour, but my company sadly did not. What followed was several hours of my life wasted on irritation when seeing this crappy movie. Peter Jackson simply did not manage to portray any charm in this at all.
